Because of this upcoming trip, I need to really buckle down and get myself in shape. I don't want to be the lard butt on the beach in Cancun.
I've been doing the EA Sports Active More Workouts 6 week Challenge. I love this Wii game more than the Fit - it definitely gets me a pretty decent workout. The Wii Fit never had me sweating, but this does!
In addition, I just started doing the 30 Day Shred again.
I know a lot of people get annoyed with Jillian, but either way, you have to admit that she puts out some seriously good workout videos. With the Shred, you are supposed to do each of the three levels for 10 days before progressing to the next level, until you reach the 30 days where you are supposed to be shredded like crazy!
I don't know about that, but we shall see! I'm on day 4 of level 1, so I will let you know how it goes. I've never done it 30 days straight like this, so I'm curious to see if results will actually happen! It's already gotten much easier though - the first 2 days I could barely walk I was so sore. People were asking me why I was limping. Damn Jillian!
I'm going to start doing a weekly check in on here to try to track my progress a little better.
